About the Role
A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking Civil Engineering Technicians at junior and mid-career levels to join its growing team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of projects, including industrial, commercial and residential developments, as well as aviation infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced engineers and technicians within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for civil infrastructure projects.
- Produce designs for roads, drainage and utility infrastructure.
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drawing and modelling.
- Undertake hydraulic and SuDS design using appropriate software such as Causeway Flow.
- Assist with design reviews, technical detailing and drawing production.
- Support multidisciplinary design coordination and quality control.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with relevant standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and technical records.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians where appropriate.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within agreed programmes and quality requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a civil engineering or consultancy environment is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience with drainage, utilities, roads or land development projects.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and SuDS design, with Causeway Flow experience advantageous.
- Good understanding of civil engineering drawings and design standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A positive, proactive and professional approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
