Resident Engineer – All Levels

About the Role
A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking Resident Engineers at all levels of experience to support the delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy working on site and want to develop their experience in construction supervision and infrastructure delivery. You will work closely with clients, contractors and project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction works and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
- Monitor site progress, quality, performance and programme.
- Ensure works comply with relevant engineering standards and Health & Safety requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to project coordination.
- Review and maintain accurate site records, reports and project documentation.
- Identify issues on site and support effective resolution.
- Assist with inspections, testing and quality control.
- Support the successful delivery of water, wastewater and civil infrastructure projects.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with contractual and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction, site supervision or infrastructure projects is desirable.
- Knowledge of water, wastewater or civil infrastructure would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to manage site activities and competing priorities.
- Full driving licence.
