Project Manager – Building & Infrastructure

About the Role
A leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of multiple projects within its Building & Infrastructure division.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination and management of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to client requirements. Working closely with Senior Project Managers, design teams, contractors and stakeholders, you will play an important role throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects in line with agreed programmes, budgets and client requirements.
- Implement project execution plans and project management processes.
- Manage communication and engagement with clients, design teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, resources, budgets, risks and key milestones.
- Maintain project documentation, programmes, schedules, meeting minutes and reports.
- Assist with project financial administration, cost tracking and invoicing.
- Prepare and maintain project risk registers.
- Monitor quality and ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
- Work closely with engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Identify potential issues and escalate risks to Senior Project Managers where appropriate.
- Provide regular project updates and performance reports.
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management or a similar role within engineering or construction.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing and client liaison abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Good understanding of project delivery, budgets, programmes and risk management.
- Experience with project management software, particularly Microsoft Project.
- Project Management qualification or professional membership would be advantageous.
