Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Engineer to join a growing Circular Economy and Environment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil or Environmental Engineer with at least 8 years of relevant professional experience to contribute to a diverse range of sustainable infrastructure, waste management, resource management and environmental projects.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to develop both technical and managerial expertise, with a defined pathway for progression towards Principal Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the planning and management of engineering design work and CAD documentation.
Work closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians to coordinate project deliverables.
Attend on-site meetings with clients, contractors and other professional stakeholders.
Coordinate project activities and ensure deliverables are completed effectively and on schedule.
Liaise with clients, external stakeholders and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance and management systems.
Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout project delivery.
Contribute to the design and delivery of sustainable infrastructure and environmental engineering projects.

Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience.
Proven project management experience.
Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
A proactive, energetic and self-motivated approach.
Excellent stakeholder and client liaison abilities.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A flexible and collaborative approach.
A full, clean and valid driving licence.

Experience in the design of anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste management facilities or public realm projects would be highly desirable.
